Global Travel Network – Fares & Ticketing Support Officer


Fares & Ticketing Support Officer, Customer Service, Auckland CBD, Full Time

 

Key Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

 

  • Responsible for providing Quoting, Ticketing and Sales Support to the GTN Family of agents.
  • Provide operational support to the wider GTN team, which may include reporting, putting together marketing material, assistance with events, coordinating presentations.
  • Update/maintain GTN databases/portals.
  • Work collaboratively with wider commercial team to drive and achieve outcomes focused on revenue growth.

 

Core Competencies & Skills Required:

 

  • Minimum 2 years in an airline or travel agency.
  • CRS / GDS Knowledge in Reservations & Ticketing – minimum 1 GDS.
  • A thorough knowledge of pricing, airfare construction, groups, airline policies and procedures.
  • A commitment to customer service with an exceptional phone manner.
  • Strong computer skills including expertise with Microsoft Office functionalities.
  • Ability to work accurately and quickly under pressure to meet customer expectations.
  • Strong knowledge of the New Zealand travel industry.
  • Self-motivated, and possesses a positive attitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
